After dealing with less than sub-par weather over the Memorial Day holiday last weekend, I was especially ready for a weekend with warm temps and lots of sun to finally kick off summer for real. So, with 70+ degree temps during the past few days spent in New York, I can assure you there was no shortage of good vibes.
A few months ago, we made plans to go to Day 1 of Governor’s Ball, so naturally we spent the 10 days before the festival anxiously monitoring the weather report. No joke, for every 12 hours of that 10 day stretch the forecast changed from perfectly sunny to pouring rain – which made packing and planning my outfit next to impossible. But as we got closer and closer to the weekend, the weather became more and more perfect which obviously called for culottes and crop tops.
We had the most epic time enjoying the weather, drinks, food and music – but after back-to-back festival weekends (we went to Boston Calling last Friday), this old-AF gal is ready to chill out.
